Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. We use them only as described here.

2. Essential (always on)

• Authentication and session cookies set by our authentication provider so you stay signed in and your session can be refreshed securely.
• Security tokens that protect forms and server actions from cross-site requests.
• The cookie that remembers your cookie choices (tjl_consent, kept for one year).
• Local storage used to save an in-progress setup form so a page reload does not lose your work.
• These cannot be switched off because the Service does not work without them.

3. Functional (optional)

Remembers preferences such as dismissed tips and layout choices. Not currently used; if introduced, it only activates after you allow it.

4. Analytics (optional)

Would measure, in aggregate, which pages and features are used so we can improve them. We do not currently run any analytics cookies or scripts. If we introduce them, they will only load after you allow this category.

5. Marketing (optional)

Would measure campaign performance or show relevant offers. We do not currently run any marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them, they will only load after you allow this category, and never for cross-site behavioural advertising without further notice.

6. Changing your choices

Use "Cookie preferences" in the website footer or Settings → Privacy at any time. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies will sign you out.

7. RecordsReview

Each choice you make is recorded with a random browser identifier, the policy version, and a timestamp so we can demonstrate consent and report acceptance rates in aggregate. No IP address or other personal identifier is stored with it.
